New officers were elected for the upcoming program year at the Northeast Missouri (NEMO) Workforce Investment Board (WIB) meeting on June 27, 2011 in Paris, Missouri. Pat Poepping, Owner of Poepping Stone Bach & Associates, Inc.
in Hannibal, Missouri and Quincy, Illinois was elected to serve as the Board's Chairperson. Mr. Poepping is a private business representative for Marion County and has been a Board member since August, 2008.
Mr. Gordon Ipson, Economic Development Manager for Northeast Missouri Electric Power Cooperative in Palmyra, Missouri was elected to serve as the Board's Vice Chairperson. Mr. Ipson is a private business
representative for Marion County and has been a Board member since May, 2007.
Ms. Jo Moncrief, District Supervisor for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Hannibal, Missouri was re-elected to served as the Board's Secretary/Treasurer.
Ms. Moncrief has served on the Board as a One-Stop Partner representative since the Board's inception in July, 2000.
The NEMO Workforce Investment Board is comprised of representatives from private and public businesses throughout our area's sixteen northeast Missouri counties who work in conjunction with our Chief Local Elected Officials to oversee the local workforce investment system.
On August 15, 2011, the Northeast Region's Chief Local Elected Officials elected the Honorable Glenn Eagan, Shelby County Presiding Commissioner, as Chairperson representing their Consortium for the upcoming year. Commissioner Eagan resides in Shelbyville, Missouri.
The Honorable John Campen, Lewis County Associate Commissioner, was re-elected as the Consortium's First Vice Chairperson.
Commissioner Campen resides in Monticello, Missouri.
The Honorable Arden Engelage, Warren County Presiding Commissioner, was re-elected as Second Vice Chairperson for the Consortium. Commissioner Engelage resides in Warrenton, Missouri.
