    Northeast Missouri Workforce Investment Board and Northeast Region Chief Local Elected Officials Elect Officers for Program Year 2010

    New officers were elected for the upcoming program year at the Northeast Missouri (NEMO) Workforce Investment Board (WIB) meeting on June 28, 2010 in Paris, MO. Fred Vahle, Manager of Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, in Warrenton, MO was elected to serve as the Board's Chairperson. Mr. Fahle is a private business representative for Warren County and has been a board member since January, 2007. Mr. Vahle also served the Board as Chief Local Elected Official for seven years prior to his service as a private business representative.

    Ms. Bonnie Seehase, Personnel Manager of Con Agra Frozen Foods in Macon, MO was re-elected to serve as the Board's Vice Chairperson. Ms. Seehase is a private business representative for Macon County and has been a board member since December, 2002.

    Ms. Jo Moncrief, District Supervisor for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Hannibal, MO was elected to served as the Board's Secretary/Treasurer. Ms. Moncrief has served on the Board as a One-Stop Partner representative since the Board's inception in July, 2000.

    The NEMO Workforce Investment Board is comprised of representatives from private and public businesses throughout our area's sixteen northeast Missouri counties who work in conjunction with our Chief Local Elected Officials to oversee the local workforce investment system.

    On May 16, 2010, the Northeast Region's Chief Local Elected Officials re-elected the Honorable Glenn Turner, Monroe County Associate Commissioner, as Chairperson representing their Consortium for the upcoming year. Commissioner Turner resides in Paris, MO.

    The Honorable Gary Jones, Adair County Presiding Commissioner was elected as the Consortium's First Vice Chairperson. Commissioner Jones resides in Kirksville, MO.

    The Honorable Charlie Korman, Montgomery County Presiding Commissioner was elected as Second Vice Chairperson for the Consortium.
